Set in L.A.’s infamous Sunset Strip in 1987, Rock of Ages tells the story of Drew, a boy from South Detroit and Sherrie, a small-town girl, both in L.A. to chase their dreams of making it big and falling in love.

  • His first performance, he went on for the lead role, Drew, with little to no rehersal
  • Jeremy was part of the group of 810 people on July 1st, 2009 who shattered the previous World Record of 440 people playing air guitar simultaneously, after a matinee performance.

WEST SIDE STORY
Based on Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet, and set in the Upper West Side neighborhood in New York City in the mid-1950s, an ethnic, blue-collar neighborhood, the musical explores the rivalry between the Jets and the Sharks, two teenage street gangs of different ethnic backgrounds. The Sharks, from Puerto Rico, are taunted by the Jets, a Polish-American working-class group. Tony, one of the Jets, falls in love with Maria, the sister of Bernardo, the leader of the Sharks.

BONNIE & CLYDE

NEWSIES
Based on the 1992 film of the same name, Newsies was inspired by the real-life Newsboys Strike of 1899 in New York City.

Facts:

  • While performing the Paper Mill run, Jeremy would come to the theater each night after having rehearsed for the Broadway run of Bonnie & Clyde during the day
  • The up side to Bonnie & Clyde’s disappointing early close was the it allowed Jeremy the chance to Originate Jack Kelly on Broadway
  • Corey Cott was originally hired as Jeremy’s alternate due to his SMASH filming schedule, but was eventually named his replacement when film required Jeremy to leave the role completely.

A Bed and A Chair
A staged concert of some of Stephen Sondheim’s best songs, with Jazz arrangements by Wynton Masalsis, and reimagined to tell the story of love of and in the big city, between four people who live there.
